This is how we unravel. In seasons; like how all forests change from full-fleshed things, to artists of grand-arson, to frostbitten and bound to break. In lapses; the numbness before, and the ecstasy after. But who are we if not broken? Where are we if not in pain? What are the elsewheres between one sigh and the eventual sting?
